Mother

They say all good things must come to an end,

But never could I have comprehend,

You leaving me being just-round the bend,

I watched your joyous smile start to fade,

I saw your innocent life start to decay,

And I saw you begin slipping into the shade,

I rushed you in, but it was too late,

I saw you disappear behind deaths gate,

It was then that I realized my own fate,

I cried for you, my tears like rain,

For I simply could not stop the pain,

I would never be the same again,

How could I live, when you weren't here?

You had always been there, but now I fear,

That I might not cope without you my dear!

I miss you already, you were like no-other,

For how can I live without you, my mother?

Yet you shall always be with me, some-way or another,
